Faux News on Poverty
These videos are mock news crews covering the Poverty Simulation event that accompanied the 2011, Student/Faculty Conference. The students completed the assignment for their philosophy course and was meant to expose the extremes in popular news coverage that often make it difficult to discern actual issues. These videos showcase some of the creative and critical projects completed by IHCC students for last year's conference.
The first video was meant to represent the "conservative" view of public news, while the second video was meant to represent a more "liberal" viewpoint. Participants include students, faculty and staff; and there are some funny moments in both.
THE POVERTY SIMULATION WILL BE PART OF OUR 2012 CONFERENCE. BE SURE TO CHECK IT OUT!!
